ACT! 2012 New Features include:

Better Integration with Sage 50 - Convert won Opportunities in ACT! To Orders or invoices in Sage 50.  Will now work with databases that have remote users.

Google and Gmail Integration - Use Google email as well as or instead of Outlook

Universal Search - Powerful upgrade to the search features including the ability to search within ACT! attachments

ACT! Scratchpad - Give up the notepad and post it notes and then send into ACT! Whne required.

Usability improvements - Lots of small improvements including view of Databases to open, Easier to run Smart Tasks, Outlook Calendar synchronisation etc

Sage ACT! Connect - Connect with remote clients such as Smartphones, iPads and Laptops - this is a subscription service.
